Hello there,
Most of our more frequent members will have noticed the increased amount of spam on our boards.
I am currently trying to close possible loopholes, but log files indicate that a lot of the spammers do not use bots.
Bots are tracable and can therefore be blocked more easily. Manual registrations can't be blocked, because then noone will be able to subscribe.
I have therefore changed the way users register. Until now users had to activate their accounts by responding to a mail they received in their mailbox.
This system has been replaced. From now on only administrators will be able to activate a user account. This way we can do a human control on newly registered users.
However, this will take a while. I therefore ask our new users to be patient, we're doing the best we can with limited resources...

30 accounts have been refused up till now. We are really under attack at the moment, but last days we have remained on top of it.
