if taking plain midi panels for channel switching
then there is a goog chance that you can use
something like "phantom" power to drive your
panel.
All you need then is a midi cable where all
pins are connected through (Old Diode Record Cable
of ancient tape decks, i.e.).
The hairy part is to open your multi-effect, to get
ground and +5 Volt connected to the 2 unused Midi wires.
What worked well was i.e. Midiverb III and
RFX MidiBuddy. Since Midibuddy has small LCD Display
and doesnt consume much power.
What didnt work was the MidiWizard from RFX.
It has too many LCD and Circuit board inside ...
It sucks your Muliteffects Power Supply, which results
in Malfunctioning device ... (humm, ...)
What does it bring to you ?
You dont need a power point on stage for your Midi Pedal .... _________________ A goaway society is one where it is safe to be unpopular |
