Hey there,
It is sad to see that a lot of people on the internet are trying to spoil other people's fun.
In order to delete these spammers from our boards I have deleted 191 suspected user accounts. If you are one of the banned users and you think that your accounts has accidently been deleted send me a mail at matt@guitarbrain.com and we'll sort things out

The new security measures aren't missing their effect, there hasn't been a single 'false registration' for 15 hours now...

I agree, it was high time that something was done about it. Still not a single bot registration... it has taken me a while but the loophole seems to be closed now. I hope it's takes a while for them to find another way around the security.
Now I remember why I usually design the goaway for my sites from scratch instead of using third party products...
