it's not your guitar you can put it in, it's the sheet music. on guitar u will kinda always see the G-key with a small 8 at the bottom. the key is placed on the second bar from the bottom on sheet music. this indicates where G is. than u can use that point as oriëntation for writing other notes on the sheet. the little 8 indicates that a guitar sounds 1 octave lower than singing or most instruments.
on lower instruments sheet music is often written in the F key, because the F key is located on the second bar from the top. wich makes it way easyer to write and music low music.
the keys are kinda weird signs, so ill use $ for G-key in my example and @ for F-key. i'll write low C in both keys, so i can make clear that its easyer to write low notes in F-key. the C is a *
------- ---------
------- @--------
------- and F key: ----------
*
$------ ----------
------- ----------
*
u can see its easyer to reed low notes on a F-key than on a regular G-key.
the A-key is a thing like that to, it has a weird sign to, and its written at the beginning of a bar or between 2. i dunno what one, and i dunno in what music and with wich instruments it's used. the different keys are mostly used in classical music, and almost never with guitars. guitars always use the regular G-key. i'm not sure about basses, tough. but electric guitars and such mostly use tabs, so thats no problem. i hope i helped you. _________________ greetz gert |
